Startide Rising gets David Brin pretty much every award there is: the Hugo Award and the Nebula Award and the Locus Award.


1985
The Postman gets the Locus Award and John W. Campbell Award, and is nominated for the Hugo Award and the Nebula Award.


1987
The Uplift War becomes a NY Times Bestseller, wins the Hugo Award and the Locus Award, and is Nebula Nominee.


1990
Earth is nominated for the Hugo Award.


1993
Glory Season is nominated for the Hugo Award.


1994
The anthology Otherness is good for a Locus Award.


1995
Yet another Hugo Nomination, this time for Brightness Reef.


1998
The Transparant Society (non-fiction) is awarded with the Obeler Freedom of Speech Award and the McGannon Communication Policy Research Award.
